About Kevin Jones
Kevin Jones is a seasoned producer, media executive, and educator with a career spanning several decades in the entertainment industry. After cutting his teeth at the legendary Ladd Company, Kevin worked at several major studios, including Warner Bros., Columbia Pictures, and Paramount Pictures, where he helped develop and produce numerous high-profile films including Coming to America, Forrest Gump, Ghost, Groundhog Day, Multiplicity. Kevin also produced the independent feature Duets and served as Head of Creative Mentors at the American Film Institute Conservatory, overseeing award-winning student-produced thesis projects. He later established an MFA program in Creative Producing and Screenwriting at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts before joining Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts as Chair of Graduate Programs. Kevin has a passion for identifying talent and developing underrepresented voices in the industry, and he enjoys sharing his expertise with students and colleagues alike.
